Well written article but not correct on the medical facts. I like but not for factual medical information.

First, I want you to know I believ your article to be well written. And thank you for asking and not getting offended.

It is great to have this converstaion with a Brasilain. hyperthyroridism and low thryoid can't be controled by tangerines. It is a hormonal issue.

Renal Calculations are cased by metabolic acidosis which is not controled by tangerines either although I will submit that citric acid is apart of the treatment. The tangerine is not able to accurately control renal tubular acidosis. Nor is it able to fend off stones for metabolic imbalances.

With Diaherria, you are looking at a drop in CO2 and an increase in sodium which does have to be treated with soidum bicarbonate but again tangrine doesn't really control this.

And for the diabetic whole fruit is idea as whole fruits don't lead to blood sugar spikes because they are fiberous but juice is sugar and has no fiber and therefore is not good for diabetics.

There are only limited uses for magnesium in modern medicine and most of them don't pertain to any of the things you have mentioned above.

It is a very well written article though and I will stipulate that there is probably a cultural difference between accpetable practices of medicine in my country versus yours. But I must also say we meet lots and lots of Brazilians that come to my country for the medicine.

You write very well but tangerines aren't going to take care of any underlying metabolic, nervous or thyroid disorder let alone a fatty acid oxidase disorder. There is a world of biochemistry between what you have written and what is praticed in medicine although you almost had me convinced because it was so professinal. I had to look a lot of things up and recheck my facts and I did it three times.

So excellent article and it probably is going to pass the average person. They will believe until they eat your tangerines and end up with a kidney stone anyways. Then yor reader will curse you. Annd the guy with diaherria is in really trouble when he becomes acidotic and the tangerine isn't going to help him either. Diaherria causes dehydration and the only cure for that one is IV fluids. We sell fruit here as well. I appreciate your article and your openness. I am going to follow you because you write so well.

And here we love the Brasilans and their football.

Cheers to you as well.

I love tangerines; they are my favorite citrus. Now I know how beneficial they are. Also appreciate the work that went into the recipe, which I will use. The fact that they are a source of magnesium is particularly important to me. Thanks for the information. Voted up.
